As an integrated member of the US Government customers Counter Intelligence Organization, the Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst performs real-time monitoring and fault/incident management of the networks within the customer domain using the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite. The CI Analyst will ensure all applicable customer computer policies, and directives are followed by users on networks with varying classification levels as well as receive tasking from counter intelligence personnel related to the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite. The CI Analyst will guide junior personnel in incident management and response to cyber security and related counter intelligence events using the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite. In addition, as a senior member of the team, will provide CI Subject Matter Expertise to the Raytheon Program Management team and the government customer as well as fill the role of Program Lead in the absences of the Program Manager.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Part of a day-to-day on-site team working with a suite of security tools as it applies to the customer security and counter intelligence mission.
- Become an expert in the operation of the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite as it relates to customer mission requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and instruct junior analysts in reviewing and assessing real-time alerts from the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite as required to ensure customer mission success.
- Develop policies and procedures on how the Raytheon Insider Threat product suite is utilized by the customer
- Utilize real world experience to understand computer user's behavior and intent to identify potential counter intelligence, or security threats to the customer organization.
- Receive tasking from other cyber security, counter intelligence, and network security organizations and submit finished analytical products to those organizations.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to construct and articulate a comprehensive computer security incident response narrative to support administrative action up to and including law enforcement intervention.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, and customer representatives at all levels within the organization.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
- An ideal candidate will have previous experience as a federal CI investigator with recent incident management/response experience.
- An ideal candidate should have experience managing others in CI analysis or investigation setting
Education:
- BA or BS in Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or related field is required. An advanced degree is desirable.
