.Net Developer

• Work with the business analysis team and end users to understand both short-term and long-term technology objectives as well as anticipating changes in business requirements.
• Perform hands-on analysis, design, coding and testing to meet business and technical objectives.
• Coordinate with software vendors, where applicable, to manage upgrades and/or maintenance activities including problem resolution.
• Provide ongoing production support for supported applications including problem resolution.

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline
• 4+ years of IT experience supporting Windows/Web-based applications (financial systems experience a plus)
• Analysis & development experience with Visual Studio (VB.NET, ASP/ASP.NET, C#), JAVA, HTML, XML/XSL
• Strong SQL knowledge (tables, queries, stored procedures, etc.) with MS SQL Server and Oracle
• Strong Excel knowledge including VBA scripting
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar reporting tool a plus
• Experience with application/web server platforms (IIS, Weblogic, Websphere)
• Prior experience working with MQ Messaging protocols a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
