Senior Software Engineer

PriceSpider provides brand manufacturers Where-to-Buy solutions that deliver accurate, real-time data using a proprietary spidering technology. It comes with extensive reporting which allows a brand to see information on sales through the reseller channel, price history, MAP monitoring, ratings, reviews and more.

Under the supervision of a Development Lead and working with a development team, the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing software in multiple programming languages across various aspects of the system architecture, providing efficient and well written solutions.

• Independently develop and implement solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities and complete tasks and projects in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of best practices in coding and application design.
• Provide recommendations for platforms and technologies that meet business requirements and/or improve efficiencies.
• Research optimal solutions and provides recommendations on software and development.
• Maintain currency in the latest technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Software Developer or Programmer
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of best practices in coding and application design
• Well versed with Object Oriented Programming principles.
• Familiar with GIT as a source control tool
• Experience with agile software development methodologies, and associated tools
• Team player attitude with the ability to collaborate with others to fulfill business requirements
• Adept at picking up new software, technology, and programming languages
• Must be adept at C# or node.js
• Must be adept at SQL

Strong Pluses

• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or other No-SQL data solutions a plus,
• HTML, Angular, Typescript, and JavaScript a plus
