Summary

This role will support Information Technology. The IT Financial Analyst will assist in the preparing, analyzing and monitoring the annual Enterprise CAPEX budget, Program Allocations and actual spend. Works with IT and Product Leadership in the identification and resolution of complex business analyses. Uses various tools to analyze Enterprise CAPEX financial performance across functional and Program allocation areas. Assists in all CAPEX financial reporting tasks, including forecasting spend and works closely with Finance and the PMO group to track project costs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in building models, tools, process and infrastructure that supports the organization's accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Develop and foster relationships with various departments while continually seeking opportunities to improve processes
  • Facilitate data collection for budgets to include, but not limited to, cost estimates, forecasting budgets and schedules
  • Develop and maintain a budget control system to monitor project actual incurred cost against target budget, risk management, document control, etc.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring annual capital budgets for business unit Programs as it relates to project control
  • Assist business unit management in systematically tracking financial project spend, contract invoicing, preparing estimates and collecting data in dispute resolution.
  • Assist the VP Office of CIO, IT and Project leaders in monitoring and controlling contractor and vendor charges
  • Collect and maintain current cost data on vendor services for both capital and operational work
  • Consolidate data and prepare weekly and/or monthly activity reports to management.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
Ideal Candidate
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting IT financial management
  • Advanced analytical and big data analysis skills Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, or Accounting
