The team at Precision Strategies is looking for a seasoned digital marketing professional to lead a small but rapidly growing advertising practice tackling business needs for some of the most interesting brands and industries and creating advocacy campaigns that drive people to action. The company’s environment is well suited for someone who is driven by curiosity, has a passion for learning, and a desire to push the boundaries on new offerings as the team scales up.
Media Strategy
- Oversee development of media planning and analysis for clients Recommend segmentation and targeting approaches and tactics for measurement customized for each client
- Oversee vendor relationships and establish long-term partnerships
New Business Development
- Assume a significant and present role within new business opportunities
- Contribute to new business efforts – including proposal, research and pitch collateral as well as representing paid media at in-person meetings
- Engage in public relations within the media field and represent the firm within industry organizations
Creative Development
- Closely evaluate creative to ensure work is strategically aligned to media goals and pulls from historical learnings – both industry and client-specific
- Assist with the development of specific campaign messaging efforts in coordination with the broader team, helping marry high level goals with the practicalities of formats
Client Management
- Develop new client relationships
- Establish long-term trust with existing clients
- Drive and implement partnership expectations and manage client feedback
Internal Process and Operations
- Oversee advertising program budgets
- Oversee accounting of client media expenditure and firm revenue on a monthly basis
- Monitor and evaluate the advertising department structure
Employee development/training
- Provide feedback, motivation and performance evaluation for advertising team
- Assist junior staff with professional development
A strong candidate will have several years of agency experience, a demonstrated ability to lead by example, and relevant knowledge of marketing designed for both direct response and branding efforts. Candidate should have direct experience with recent developments in the advertising space, including using digital to drive a call to action, programmatic marketing, and a perspective on measuring success beyond standard media metrics.
