This is a Full-Time, Hourly role. The Team Leader role requires five days of work per week & required availability is Monday - Sunday. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door as a supervisor with a rapidly expanding company and grow with us. http://www.plated.com

Plated Team Leaders will maintain a balanced mix of assisting the General Manager in coordinating and overseeing the activities of workers engaged in the sorting/portioning/distribution of product, receiving and quality control of goods and outbound logistics. The responsibility includes directing and training others in all associated tasks and functions and responsibilities in relation to the operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of warehouse personnel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure ingredient quality at all times.
  • Oversee organization and inventory records and performing inventories as requested by GM
  • Responsible for consistent quality and quantity of product: perform random spot checks.
  • Oversee final quality checks and production flows. while adhering to temperature guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for all inventories, HAACP plans and other records as requested
  • Assist in various ad hoc assignments as directed
  • Use logic, common sense, and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and escalate to management
  • Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to: GMP’s, Allergen Program, Quality, Sanitation & Safety
  • Perform other duties related to job as assigned by General Manager
Ideal Candidate
  • High School diploma or the equivalent preferred
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in a light manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, food preparation or similar industry / work environment
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Willingness to actively participate in Team Member & Team Leader training and support activities
  • Motivated individual with strong self-directed capabilities as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a customer orientation
  • Ability to meet attendance guidelines (may include holidays, weekend and extended hours)
  • Open availability -- we are open 7 days a week
