Summary

We’re now looking to bring amazing people, like you, onto the team to redefine the way people think about food.

Responsibilities
  • Manage maintenance activities which include, but are not limited to: Preventive maintenance, equipment modification and installation, predictive maintenance program, quality and performance monitoring, and cost monitoring.
  • Scheduling and maintenance of process equipment to avoid conflict with production and to avoid breakdowns.
  • Coordinate work with outside contractors.
  • Be first contact for off-hours emergency issues such as building not locking, janitorial concerns/calls, etc.
  • Be first contact for maintenance issues.
  • Be first contact to coordinate maintenance calls for building and meet company on-site for repair instruction.
  • Responsible for tracking and coordinating monthly/quarterly/annual inspections such as fire system, elevator, HVAC, etc., including all repairs or corrections identified as necessary.
  • Schedule and manage all building vendors such as garbage and recycle pickup, inside and outside landscape maintenance, and report if it's off-schedule or needs schedule revision.
  • Be knowledgeable of our HVAC systems.
Ideal Candidate
  • 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance and porter work
  • Certifications in HVAC and OSHA
  • Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repairs.
  • Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of buildings.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Knowledge on driving man-lifts, fork trucks and other related facilities equipment (i.e. snow removal equipment)
  • Basic technology skills, including email, copier/printing, electronic filing, phone messages, and faxing
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge, and carpentry skills.
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards proactively
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Skilled in heating and air conditioning
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete all assigned tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to move furniture such as tables, chairs, desks, equipment.
  • Ability to lift 60-75 pounds
