Summary

Plated is looking for an People Business Partner & Talent Development Director to help us evolve the Plated people who are making eating and cooking more sustainable, personalized, and easy! You will lead and implement our internal and external communications, performance management processes, employee training & development, and will be responsible for overall employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of internal and external employee communications, including: organizational announcements, all-hands meetings, program roll-outs, and outward facing digital & print communications.
  • Assist the leadership team in evaluating performance of individual team members and providing development guidance.
  • Ensure team members have the right skills, tools and talents to perform outstandingly in their roles
  • Coach senior leaders and mentor junior leaders on employee facing policies / best practices and processes of talent management to promote engagement and alignment with Plated Brand Pillars & Core Values
  • Manage multiple learning projects to successful and timely completion
  • Maintain ownership of eNPS and overall employee engagement
Ideal Candidate
  • 6+ years’ experience in human resources, organization development, training or related people development field, preferably in a startup or similar fast paced, rapid-growth environment
  • 2+ years’ experience in leading and developing managers
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required, MBA a plus, PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge & understanding of HR laws such as EEO/AA, ERISA, ADA, etc.
  • Strong understanding of how to leverage HR metrics and business data to provide insights to the business and enable data-informed decision-making
  • Strong facilitation skills applicable across formal and informal (eg, coaching, mentoring) approaches
  • Strong interpersonal and developed presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated bias toward action, with a focus on getting things done and making things happen
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
