Planet Interactive is in search of a Front-End Web Developer who is interested in combining great design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code, helping solve business problems with department specific custom web applications, and helping drive implementation and optimization of marketing analytics tools.
- Develop new user-facing features for both customers and internal client use
- Develop front-end code variations for A/B and Multivariate using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Ensure the technical feasibility and code development of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement and improve marketing tools implementation
- Lead and help create internal marketing applications
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to technical thought leadership
- At least 3 years experience as a front-end web developer with portfolio of work
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Effective understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, etc.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. o Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Preferred experience in full-stack development, primarily MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node)
- Working knowledge of tag management systems and analytics tools
- Experience with optimizing responsive site code for improved load experience.
