Palliative Care Chief /Hospitalist

NBHN is seeking a highly motivated Director for the Palliative Care Consultation Service at Jacobi Medical Center.

• Provide care to patients, and their families with serious debilitating illnesses or injury and/or end-of-life care addressing their physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Candidates should have an interest in advancing the education of Palliative Care system wide. Expanding Palliative Care services into the entire out-patient system with future plans to initiate a Palliative Care Fellowship.
• Additional responsibilities would include developing research projects and a QI program within Palliative Care.

• Must possess training & experience in Palliative Care.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must possess a New York State Medical license.
• ABMS Board Certified/Board Eligible in Palliative Care.
