The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for establishing the strategic brand direction for Perfectly Posh and executes a coordinated set of marketing activities that drive value and deliver profitable growth. This leader fosters collaboration across Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive business growth and successfully executes on priorities to help drive the long-term strategic plan for the Perfectly Posh. The Vice President of Marketing will help develop and lead the overall strategic direction to grow the brands collection of pampering to maximize return on marketing investment and deliver a competitive advantage. This position will develop launch plans for the selected products and categories and provide leadership, vision, and support for innovation in brand category expertise. While also developing promotional strategies, product and ingredient education delivery, PR, social media and seasonal strategies, engagement strategies for customer and consultants, etc.
The Perfectly Posh Vice President of Marketing is responsible to maintain and promote the brand and growth strategy of the company’s product line and sales force. This strategic leader drives the brand and creative, (written and visual), web, and marketing teams to inform, promote, sell, and build the brand and business.
- Establish the brand vision across the ecommerce site, mobile and online marketplace
- Communicate brand vision and goals to, SEO specialists, copywriters, designers, and other creative team members
- Demonstrate your depth in all aspects of marketing-storytelling, online marketing, and brand awareness
- Develop, refine, and execute strategic marketing plans taking accountability for marketing spend and brand revenue
- Generate metrics and success indicators across different marketing channels
- Analyze trends and identify new market and new product opportunities, oversee the pricing strategy, and successfully manage all aspects of the selling process required to grow market share, including product launches
- Build external and internal brand awareness, compete in a retail skin care space, and know the retail skincare industry
- Know how to drive and market online sales, be able to follow and predict skincare trends, packaging and other compliance and labeling info
- Report on marketing KPI’s and strategy to main stakeholders
- Create long-term brand strategies and initiatives
- Lead and motivate by inspiring the marketing organization and connecting business goals to their work
- Develop, present, and recommend marketing strategy changes to the executive staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is required
- 10+ years personal care, skincare or beauty industry relevant experience required international experience is a plus
- Entrepreneurial in nature with an ability to work in a fast-paced agency style environment
- Must be ‘hands-on’ and get involved with the details
- Strong communication skills
- Highly creative and analytical with strong affinity for aesthetics
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
