Responsibilities
* Assumes the role of go-to digital expert within the Waste Group * Determines strategies for product merchandising that effectively connects the dots and increases user movement between editorial content, directory listings, education sessions and live events, resulting in an increase in both digital activity and revenue * Monitors all site metrics to determine both short-term and long-term trends in order to drive users through the Waste suite of products * Develops and manages an online merchandising seasonal calendar by mapping out and prioritizing product and content launches based on industry events, editorial initiatives and education session releases * Works with Editorial and Marketing Teams to effectively promote both directory listings and education sessions within content, as well as stand-alone marketing initiatives * Works closely with sales teams and business owners to deliver digital product/program solutions to clients within the industry and once sold makes sure all elements are fulfilled with internal shared services groups * Vets new product development opportunities/ideas against digital analytics/revenue * Reports key metrics/revenue conversion to key stakeholders and makes strategic recommendations based on the data * Works with User Marketing Team on database building/audience segmentation * Shares best practices as a member of a Digital Team that spans 4 different industries/product domains
Ideal Candidate
* A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, journalism or a related field * Relevant product management and business analysis experience * Experience working in content management systems and a basic understanding of HTML * Strong knowledge of digital web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat, Eloqua) * Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products and programs for customers * Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and business owners to prioritize work * Strong oral, written and presentation skills; ability to convey highly strategic concepts into deliverable results to both internal teams and external teams/clients * Strong time management and project management skills * Knowledge of the Waste or Sustainability Industry a plus
