- Define, gather, and analyze system and customer requirements.
- Ability to see the business needs through system requirements for smooth implementation of projects.
- Develop system deliverables in requirements format.
- Work with business clients to document, review, revise, estimate and prioritize requirements.
- Work with developers to plan, develop and design to ensure requirements are being met.
- Resolve any requirements issues.
- Work with testers and review test plans/ test cases to ensure requirements are thoroughly tested.
- Coordinate defect resolution with developers and testers and ensure retest fixes any issues.
- Assist with user training and User Acceptance testing (UAT) and documentation of training material development.
- Business Analysts must be competent to work on complex projects and or multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability organize and manage project work to drive predictable delivery.
- The incumbents may also provide guidance to, and assist in training less experienced staff.
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment with extensive experience implementing or supporting other related business processes.
- Extensive experience in analysis, design, and user interface flows requirement gathering, business process mapping, process improvement mapping, and functional implementation.
- Experience with hardware configuration management and documentation a plus.
- Familiarity with Mainframes a plus.
- Applied knowledge of various Systems Life Cycle development methodologies.
- Candidate must be skilled in leading cross-functional and distributed teams on large initiatives.
- Skilled in developing project documentation such as scope definition, requirements complete with conditions of acceptance, sprint planning, release plans, and risk assessment and management.
- Great initiative, highly motivated and dependable. A quick learner, a team player also capable of working independently with an open mind. Adapt quickly and easily to multiple simultaneous changes.
- Experience with demonstration of a product or service with an audience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interview skills are a must.
- Strong use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) as well as Share Point
