(New York, New York)Principal Responsibilities:
- Handle requests for the PM’s/analyst’s time and attention by making judgments about the importance and priority of each and maintaining the satisfaction of those making requests.
- Provide telephone coverage for the team, screening calls and directing, as appropriate
- Organize all details of the team’s business calendar and travel arrangements
- Arrange in-house meetings including schedule meeting rooms, coordinate schedules of attendees, greet guests
- Process and reconcile expense accounts
- Organize incoming mail; independently take action on incoming correspondence, and compose correspondence.
- Create and maintain file systems (electronic and otherwise).
- Coordinate meetings and meeting agendas, and compile collateral materials.
Competencies for Success/Requirements:
- Strong computer software skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Org Plus
- 2 plus years admin experience, preferably in a Financial Services corporate environment
- BA/BS Degree preferred
- Use sound judgment
- Organization and time management
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters
- Write Effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail-orientation and excellent follow through skills
- Manage multiple tasks and tradeoffs
-Extensive use of e-mail technologies / Microsoft Office Suite - Flexible, ability to work in high pressure environment
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
