Senior Project and Program Manager

This is an individual contributor position that is a highly cross-functional role that works across the Delivery and Product organizations to ensure projects, processes and deliverables are handled in a cohesive manner. The individual will possess solid communication skills, be well organized and be able to break down functional requirements to meet business needs.

• Lead multiple projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Own, drive and facilitate the Product Development processes
• Work with individuals and group managers to estimate duration for activities and set common milestone targets
• Gather, analyze, document, and perform reviews of functional specifications/requirements
• Develop cross functional project plans, schedules and success to meet business objectives. Act as liaison with various groups and departments (e.g., Development, Product Management, Quality Services, Operations, Business Operations, and Support)
• Work with team to evaluate risks and assess potential impacts on project delivery
• At times, work with external customers, partners and carriers on integration projects

What to bring

• 8+ years of Program or Technical Project Management experience in a software development environment
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Tailors communications to the appropriate audience: wonderfully succinct
• Collaborative working style - working well in a team environment is very important
• Ability to break down business problems into functional tasks
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with writing functional specifications
• Knowledgeable about all stages of the software development process

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the mobile messaging and connectivity platforms

Education / Training:

• Bachelor degree in MIS or equivalent experience
• PMI and/or Scrum Master Certification desired
