Summary

This position guides and supports project teams in ensuring that deliverables and dates are met.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Director/Portfolio leader and functional managers to manage project pipeline and review portfolio resource capacity for current and potential projects
  • Act as the project manager on larger and more complex projects
  • Create schedules and estimates for larger,complex projects and provide schedule best practices and expertise on less complex projects
  • Drive cross project status meetings and other best practices as appropriate to enable on-time delivery of all projects
  • Provide project management process and tool support and guidance to all levels of Account Services roles
  • Drive process improvement efforts within your portfolio
  • Drive monthly resource forecasting activity for the portfolio
  • Work with functional managers to assign project resources
  • Daily re-leveling of resources between projects based on portfolio priority.
  • Identify resource risks and gaps and work to resolve with Account Services, functional managers and portfolio leader
  • Collaborate with account services leaders to hire, train and develop the account services resources within the portfolio
Ideal Candidate
  • 4+ years project management experience in an advertising or marketing environment
  • 2+ years client contact experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Experienced with project management tools and familiar with best practices
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and common digital solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated communication skills and focused, calm demeanor
  • Strong relationship-management skills
  • Ability to address and resolve conflict while preserving key relationships
  • Agency experience is strongly preferred
  • BA in business, marketing or a related field
  • Continuing coursework in Project Management is a plus
