Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Engineer, Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs and works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of various factors.

* Develops software tools for operating systems, routers, networks, utilities, databases and other internet related tools. * Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. * Develops and recommends corrective actions. * May conduct feasibility studies on new and modified designs. * Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. * Completes documentation and procedures. * May interface with users to define system requirements. * Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. * Plans and coordinates several small projects. * Makes decisions independently. * Other duties may be assigned as required.

* Experience using AlphaSkins. * Experience storing and retrieving data from SQL database. * Experience with communication over Web Services. * Experience parsing markup languages like XML and HTML. * Agile / Scrum / XP development best practices. * Use of GitHub. * Knowledge of Industrial Automation machines or standards. * Knowledge of Semiconductor production machines or standards. * Background in robotics or machine automation. **Education and Experience** * Bachelors of Science in Engineering or other technical field and 3-7 years of experience required. * Delphi XE6 or higher development required. * Experience with socket-based communication with other processes / systems strongly preferred.
