The Research Analyst will conduct research to provide business, customer, competitive, market and industry insights. Leveraging the insights gained, the Research Analyst will translate findings into actionable recommendations to be presented to business leaders. Position reports to the Marketing Communications Mangager
- Conduct research, compile data, and interpret findings on industries, customers, and competitors to uncover insights and drive future strategies.
- Analyze marketing initiatives to determine source attribution and measure activity ROI.
- Create clear, compelling presentations and reports that illustrate and communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Develop research plans with diverse methodologies to conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
- Compile data from various sources into a cohesive unit, validating reports and findings
- Develop high-impact insight-based findings to be translated into actionable recommendations applicable to multiple audiences including management and business leaders.
- Research industry events and make recommendations on exhibiting, speaking or sponsoring.
- Understand where customers are viewing industry news and make recommendations on ad placements and editorial pitches.
- 1-3 years experience pulling, aggregating and manipulating data
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business required
- Strong problem solving and analysis experience
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to validate reports and findings
- Ability to handle ambiguity and conflicting business priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with team, stakeholders, vendors, and senior executives
- Ability to establish research methodology
- Experience with hoovers and data.com a plus
- Highly organized, flexible, and detail oriented
- Customer-focused team player
Working Conditions
Minimal travel of up to 10% is required
