Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients, consultants, city officials, and firm management to advance and elevate design concepts as well as obtaining entitlements
- Provides work ethic that demonstrates the highest degree of professionalism, energy and dedication
- Be part of the team in pursuit to increase the level of awareness of quality architecture & design within the firm, and in its implementation
- Be part of the team in the responsibility to maintain a cost effective operation and projects
- Team Leader to support and execute projects through the entire design process
- Motivate, manage, and mentor junior design staff in design skills and execution of project concepts
- Participate and manage cutting edge technology in the form of the BIM platform and other computer software
- Collaborate with other MVE Project Architects to execute projects through construction documents
- Understands the economics of construction and the impact of design decisions on project feasibility
- Able to work as an integral member of the firm to achieve outstanding results and perform as a high functioning team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Minimum five years of experience in all phases of architectural delivery
- Extensive experience in all facets of retail design
- Experience with mixed-use projects is a plus
- Registered Architect or NCARB Certified a plus
- Well versed in Revit, AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe and other design tools and fully understands the contribution that technology play in the design process
- Strong client facing skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Thought Leadership capabilities
- Management and organizational experience
