Network Cisco Security Analyst

MTS Systems, long known for innovative solutions and work life balance, is looking to hire a Network Cisco Security Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure team. As part of the network team you will be responsible for implementation of the network security devices and topologies, including top level support of network devices and topologies, recommend security technology solutions for business needs and interact with telecom service providers.

To perform, within the scope of the appropriate responsibility level, design, development, installation, implementation, and support for MTS networks and operating systems.

• Implement network security devices and topologies
• Top level support of network devices and topologies
• Interact with telecom service providers
• Work with IT security to remediate security issues
• Support network infrastructure including firewalls, routing, switching, wired and wireless networking
• Work with Cisco TAC and other support mechanisms
• Network Monitoring and reporting for fault and performance

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. degree and 5 years of relevant technical support experience OR
• A.A. degree in a technical field and 9 years of relevant technical experience OR
• 13 years of relevant technical experience
• Minimum of 5 years of network experience using Cisco Security Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable IT program
• Solid understanding of routing and switching
• Working knowledge of Network Tunneling and Perimeter security, including firewalling and VPN
• Cisco IOS, IOS XE, & NX-OS
• Cisco ASA firewall, Zone based firewalls
• Dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP), Cisco Firepower
• Conceptual understanding of voice-over-IP
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot QoS
• CCNP Security or equivalent certification
• Experience working on an international network
• Strong background in Cisco network security equipment
