Fullstack Web Developer

MM Hayes is a software company based in Albany, NY. Since 1971, MM Hayes has provided world-class customer service and support to organizations across the United States for Kronos workforce management, POS, Quickcharge cashless payment and access control solutions.

The Fullstack Web Developer is expected to have the required technical skills and experience as well as the ability to learn and become productive in new programming languages and technologies. The Fullstack Web Developer reports to the Development Manager and will participate in both the design and development of Quickcharge software.

• Contribute to a robust home grown software using the latest Java and JavaScript technologies
• Work independently and as part of a team to develop an enterprise software
• Work seamlessly with QA team and other development teams
• Provide support to the implementation department to answer software related questions
• Exhibit strong initiative, leadership, and accountability on all projects

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of JavaScript experience utilizing at least one of the following:
  • jQuery
  • Angular
  • Backbone
  • React
• 3+ years of Java experience
• 3+ years of SQL experience (T-SQL preferred)
• 3+ years of HTML/CSS experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HTML 5
• Experience with PhoneGap (Cordova)
• Experience with Java Servlets
• Experience creating RESTful APIs (preferably in Java)
• Experience with SCRUM/AGILE
• Experience with Java Frameworks such as Spring, Play, Hibernate, Maven, etc.
• Experience building mobile applications for any platform
• Experience with POS and/or Inventory Control systems
