Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator-Medical/Surgical Unit

Ministry Health Care is a network of hospitals, clinics, and other health related organizations operating across the central, northern, and northeastern regions of Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

Ministry Door County Medical Center, a critical access facility in northeast Wisconsin, has served the health care needs of the Sturgeon Bay/Door County area since 1943. The hospital offers a full range of acute care services and specialties, as well as a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services. Three-fourths of the organization's business is comprised of clinical and outpatient services and reaches out to locations throughout Door County and northern Kewaunee County. Some key services include cardiac rehabilitation, a cancer/radiation oncology treatment center, comprehensive diagnostics, physical, occupational and speech therapy centers, respiratory care/rehab/sleep disorders center, a new outpatient surgical center, emergency/urgent care services and new units for medical/surgical care, ICU and the birthing center.

Duties: The CNA performs specific, supportive nursing services, patient care, and assists nursing personnel under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be self-efficient in dealing with decision making. Must be able to manage time, pressure and deadlines in a positive fashion, and be able to respond appropriately to negative feedback.

Assist with HUC clerical duties as assigned.

Education: Graduate of Nursing Assistant training program. Must be listed in Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry.

Experience: Prior CNA experience preferred.

Certifications: CPR Certification required.

Shift: Working 32 hours a week variable shifts, and rotating weekends.
