The HR Associate for the Retail and PSM Advertising HR teams plays a key role in orchestrating the HR ROB and supporting highly visible processes with opportunity to innovate by simplifying and scaling execution across all clients.
Key Accountabilities for PSM Advertising HR:
- Executing the HR ROB, under the direction of the HR Director or Sr HR Manager.
Contributes to the preparations for and supports successful delivery of HR programs and processes including but not limited to:
- People Scorecard - Assess results and trends in order to provide insights to each leader
- Performance & Development: Supports the Performance & Development processes, Connects, people discussions, promotions, and annual rewards.
- MS Poll - Drive MS Poll analysis command support communications to key stakeholders. Advise the business V-team on MS Poll action planning. Lead and drive MS Poll plan for PSM Advertising HR Team
- Support HR efforts regarding talent planning and management for the client / business, in fulfillment of the HR Plan, under the direction of the HR Director

- Applies strong analytical and data interpretation skills to provide analysis of metrics to business leaders in a predictable manner by leveraging Microsoft data and tools/resources
Program/Process Management
- In partnership with the D&I sponsors, lead, plan and drive D&I outreach event participation. Determine proposal and plan, secure budget, partner with staffing and business on attendance, and determine loop back to leaders/employee/candidates on events.
- Support the A&O MACH community in partnership with A&O MACH sponsor on community, developmental opportunities, and engagement with leaders
- Manage basic employee relations issues (e.g. tracking zero rewards and following up with managers, Core Priorities reviews)
Key Accountabilities for Retail HR:
- In partnership with the Implementation lead, provide system, process and reporting support for Talent Management, Diversity/Inclusion, People Review, MS Poll, Performance and Development (Connects), business All Hands, etc.
- Create and manage consumable reports and templates which drive productivity and effectiveness of the HR team and client’s organization.
- Support the coordination of program deliverables, daily/weekly to-dos, and meeting requirements with program owner(s) and HR Business Manager
- Create, compile, analyze, audit, report and present employee data related to the entire employee life cycle: from hiring to exit processes.
- Integrate reports provided by HRBI to ensure a full picture of employee engagement in Microsoft Retail
- Track and manage basic employee relations issues (e.g. tracking zero rewards and following up with managers, Core Priorities reviews)
Additional responsibilities across both HR teams include:
- Building knowledge of Microsoft and HR policies and regulations, as well as, local workforce laws with in assigned organization.
- Acting as a liaison to AskHR, GHRO, and Reporting teams and contracts needs of the HR team in a collaborative manner.
- Program Management of the job elimination process
- Ad-hoc projects such as HR data and infrastructure related to re-orgs, and job title taxonomy, supporting HR-related communication rollouts, and other HR-related projects as assigned.
- Education Level Required BS/BA degree required, MBA or an advanced degree in HR preferred
- Years of Experience Required 2-3 years of relevant work experience

- Ability to coordinate and multi-task HR Programs in a complex and matrix business environment
- High level of proficiency and interest in compiling, analyzing, and developing insights from data to drive increased business results
- Strong communications and organization skills
- Highly proficient project management skills and strong process orientation skills are required
- Ability to identify systems strengths and weaknesses, and drive for continuous improvement and improved customer experience
- Ability to collaborate across HR to deliver effective business solutions
- Strong Microsoft software skills
