Summary
The MXM Web Analyst is responsible for analyzing web and email campaign metrics in order to provide recommendations that optimize various web and CRM initiatives. This role provides data in support of a mix of strategy and account planning efforts for MXM and its clients. The Web analyst assists client team in the development of research testing proposals based upon reporting/data findings and in-depth analysis of this current and historical data; presenting findings to clients as necessary.
Responsibilities
* Assists in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). * Design client-specific dashboards based upon client business needs and identification of KPIs. * Assess existing client reports and propose recommendations to improve client reports as required. * Formulates SEO recommendations. Identifies keywords. Provides guidance to design and development teams to optimize websites for search. * Monitors latest web analytics and CRM trends. * Research data from 3rd party sites (e.g. CompetePro) * Documents tagging requirements. * Assess existing site tagging structure and provide recommendations to improve tagging as required. * Works closely with technical and QA teams to ensure all appropriate actions are tracked
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Bachelor's degree, preferably in market research, math, statistics, economics, marketing, psychology, or other related fields. **Experience:** * Min of 2yrs of web analytics experience. **Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Strong analytical and strategic mind-set with attention to detail. * Experience with business intelligence tools, e.g. Google Analytics, e.piphany, and Omniture. * Familiarity with SEO and CRM best practices. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be comfortable writing reports and presenting to clients. * Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. * Possess ability to analyze data and translate information into actionable insights. * Ability to work independently within a cross-functional team. * Must possess strong time-management skills. * Must be extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience in CPG and automotive industries a plus.
