Responsibilities

The RN II provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing for the Surgery Pre-Admitting, Pre-Op/Holding nursing department. This position will provide care to the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach Surgical Pavilions.

Ideal Candidate
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certifications are required.
  • Nursing experience in a Surgery/PACU nursing unit in an acute care hospital is preferred.
