Responsible for performing home health administration and injection training coordination activities and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Serve as the coordinator for all incoming requests for home health administration or injection training
- Confirm patient eligibility based on business rules
- Coordinate with agencies to identify an available nurse to service the patient, ensuring nurses have completed all pre-training requirements
- Answer incoming patient and provider calls as they come into the ACD line
- Work any follow-ups in your name by due date and communicate with providers regarding patient updates and changes
- Accurately enter progress notes for patients so that other team members can access the status of a patient easily
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Prefer at least 1+ years of experience working and understanding Insurance Verification/Benefits
- Reading, writing, arithmetic, good communication skills, PC and word-processing skills, and working knowledge of the company products
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years customer service experience 2+ years medical or insurance industry experience
Education
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
