Offshore Engagement Manager

The Offshore Engagement Manager oversees and coordinates various aspects of operational projects aimed at gaining production and financial efficiencies. This role will facilitate all aspects of the development / implementation of projects utilizing cross-functional teams. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring and performing control activities throughout the project lifecycle, including developing project plans, assessing project issues and recommending resolutions and / or mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals.
- Provides a single point of contact for various projects, partners, specialties and/or locations in order to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Defines project scope, objectives and timelines
- Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the project and serves as project manager between clients, business office management and internal / external resource teams.
- Creates slot schedules, process and maintain statement of work and business case detail, and works with finance and executive leadership to drive additional offshore activities to completion.
- Seeks opportunities within business base to facilitate projects from original concept through final implementation and manages existing projects.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet business, processing turn-around-time, and business-satisfaction goals
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for providing solutions
- May provide project management guidance to the project team
- Monitors and manages the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with the business on all matters, provides status reports
- Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules
- Frequently interacts with internal business and offshore partners and/or functional peer group managers
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which includes vendors, billing operations directors and senior level executives
- Other duties as assigned
- 0-2 years of experience in project management or operations management
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing offshore relationships preferred
- Strong personal computer literacy required including working knowledge of relevant software packages such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, including checks for integrity, summation, and effective communication (written and verbal) to internal and external constituents. Ability to build and effectively build and manage a team
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Ability to lead large operational projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

Minimum Requirements
- Entry-level experience in project management
Education
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
