MARCIVE, Inc., a leader supplier of automated services to libraries nationwide, has an immediate, full-time, permanent position in the Marketing Department in San Antonio, Texas.
- Learn and sell all MARCIVE services including authorities processing, RDA conversion, MARC Record Enrichment, retrospective conversion, Brief Record Upgrade, reclassification, government document conversion, and MarciveWeb DOCS.
- Respond to bids for all services. Represent MARCIVE at library conferences, work in the booth, and make presentations.
- Travel 5-8 times per year, with some trips requiring weekends away from home.
- Assist with conferences, advertising, marketing, web content, and literature responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Access and Excel
- Ability to be a self-starter
- Must work at the San Antonio office (no telecommuting)
- Desirable: Demonstrated success in consultative sales in the library market
- Knowledge of cataloging and technical services
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. MLS. Appropriate work experience may be substituted for degree(s).

Additional Notes on Compensation
Commensurate with experience. Base salary plus commission. Benefits package includes medical, dental, life insurance, and 401K/profit sharing.
