As a Financial Operations Specialist you will lead the preparation of confidential and complex mailings to ICP participants, Stockholders, and Member Firms utilizing word-processing, database, and spreadsheet software. This will include coordinating and communicating with other team members leading up to project completion as well as participating in the planning and testing to transition hard-copy communications to digital format.
Another key area of focus will be to scan, organize, and maintain a wide variety of ICP and Stockholder documents (physical and digital) for easy access and retrieval. You will also transition existing tax documents for MFH and its subsidiaries from FileNet to SharePoint and work with the Reinsurance team to process reinsurance treaties and amendments in SharePoint, as well as manage the organization of the hard copies of the documents.
You will also maintain the contact database in addition to assisting with the analysis and implementation of a new contact database.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years’ related administrative support and/or project management experience with demonstrated ability to progressively assume increased responsibility.
- Well-developed computer skills with strong proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access database management (experience with FileNet, Adobe Pro, and SharePoint a plus).
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with ICP Participants, Stockholders, ICP, Member Firms, vendors, and fellow team members.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to take initiative and guide projects/assignments through to completion, and to routinely meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
