Senior User Interface Engineer

Lucid is a software company delivering the power of human answers on a massive scale. We built Fulcrum, the first global marketplace for market research sample (that means human beings who answer questions), and introduced programmatic buying and selling to the market research industry. We also created Federated Sample, a full-service sample provider that, using our proprietary technology, empowers our clients to do world-class market research.

The UI Team architects simple and beautiful experiences across a multitude of devices around the world. We build rich JavaScript-based applications built on modern technologies like Node.js, React/Redux, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs. As a senior contributor to this team you are passionate about product design and user experience. You aim to delight and reinvent through innovative UIs.

• Develop next-generation applications using best practices in web development
• Translate product and business goals into leveragable solutions
• Collaborate with Product and API teams to architect stunning web interfaces
• Deliver well-tested, robust, and documented software

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of web application development experience
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript
• Proficient in HTML and CSS
• Working knowledge of build tools like Gulp, Webpack
• Self-led but highly aligned with the team to ship fast and communicate daily

Skills we Prefer

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript frameworks like React
• Experience building RESTful web services
• Passionate for user interfaces and learning technologies
• Working knowledge of data-fetching libraries like GraphQL, Falcor
• Polished verbal and written communication skills
