We’re seeking a talented visual designer with fluency in web and mobile design to join our creative team as a Designer in our New York City office.

• You understand the importance of user experience and role of visual design.
• You’re familiar with user-centric design processes on a practical level, and with your visual design skills you are able to bring concepts and complex wireframes alive.
• Work closely with ux team, and with direction from creative director, you will be tasked with placing the visual layer onto our digital properties and passing spec’d and sliced image for developers to implement.
• You should be comfortable presenting these visual designs to our team, stakeholders and senior management.

• 3-5 years related experience in digital design
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of web and mobile UI design and usability
• Self motivated with the ability to initiate projects that could fill gaps
• You have a mastery of the principals of design, typography, color theory, and graphics file creation optimized for mobile and web
• You can observe, analyze, question and conceptualize
• You can articulate your decision and design process
• You maintain an understanding of digital trends and capabilities
• You can prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Axure, OmniGraffle or InvisionApp or other prototyping tools a plus
