Operational Transformation Engineer

Within 3 months, you’ll

• Build a support tool to playback operations and undo operations to a particular version
• Implement realtime presence and cursor support in ShareDB, so users can see what other users are interacting with them anywhere in Lever
• Support product engineering in integrating realtime cursor support with collaborative job posting editing

Within 6 months, you’ll

• Help integrate the JSON2 OT algorithm into ShareDB and DerbyJS
• Embed rich text OT in the JSON2 OT algorithm
• Optimize ShareDB performance
• Replace and refactor existing systems as needed

Within 12 months, you’ll

• Add new operations features to the JSON2 algorithm
• Implement support for re-syncing offline clients
• Formalize ShareDB protocol and promote as an open source standard
• Work with the product team to productionize the world's first collaborative realtime API in an enterprise application platform like Lever
