Responsibilities

You’ll also be a critical part of Lever’s core team. Empower our new engineers as we grow with your documentation. Help build a world-class engineering org by making everyone feel proud of what we’re producing. Use your connections to the community to help advise on the technology and platform roadmap.

Ideal Candidate

Within 3 months, you’ll

  • Fully understand our framework in and out
  • Write comprehensive documentation and publish to our open source websites
  • Write additional internal documentation to help make our new hires into power users of Derby
  • Write examples, demos, tutorials, and reusable components
  • Fully understand where our framework lives in the competitive landscape
  • Grow our community through consistent activity on- and offline
  • Own Derby’s meetup group and plan regular events

Within 6 months, you’ll

  • Write more complex, boundary-pushing sample apps
  • Consistently post blogposts, examples, demos
  • Bubble up community’s needs into Derby’s roadmap
  • Create testimonials and case studies
  • Measure your growth of Derby usage

Within 12 months, you’ll

  • Speak regularly at conferences
  • Review and merge in pull requests
  • Manage the community and external Derby roadmap
