Still owned by the Leprino family, we’ve set our sights to become the “World’s Best Dairy Food and Ingredient Company.”
This position requires the safe operation of the whey bagging line in accordance with standard operating procedures while monitoring the quality of the outgoing product.
- Operate bagger equipment efficiently according to SOP's.
- Monitor whey powder quality.
- Complete paperwork accurately.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Maintain a clean work area according to GMP practices.
- Perform duties in a safe manner complying with all applicable safety policies.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 Months of previous manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Must be able to read and write to understand standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be action oriented and have the capacity to drive for results.
- Must be able to communicate well within the department.
- Must be willing to support a 24/7 operation by being available to work weekends and holidays.
- The position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
