Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is taking applications for Electrical Engineering Internships at the IDEA Center, our Research & Development facility in Carthage, MO.

• Interns work collaboratively and creatively on challenging projects within either either Smart Products (lpsmartproducts.com) or Adjustable Beds (lpadjustablebases.com).
• Internship activities can run the gamut of a product lifecycle:
  • Exploration
  • Design
  • Prototyping
  • Testing
  • Manufacturing.
• You will work with engineering mentors based on your ability, skills, and interests.
• Our interns are expected to roll up their sleeves and jump in from day one—some have even been included on patents.

• Major in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 40 credit hours or more towards Bachelor's degree preferred
• Student design project experience a plusa
