Leesa is seeking an experienced Front End Developer that is passionate about building mobile and desktop web applications. This position is full-time and is based in our Virginia Beach office.

• Implement the features and user interfaces of Leesa applications
• Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues

• 3+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6. Experience with React and/or Angular 2 is a bonus
• HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
• Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance
• Must be fluent in front-end technologies including, but not limited to: JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, JSON, and familiar with one or more JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Prototype...)
• Experience working with open source technologies is required and contribution to open source systems is a plus
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
