Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Hot Strip Mill

In this position you will Provide Mechanical Engineering support for the Hot Strip Mill.

• Focus on one of the following systems: Reheat Furnaces, Down Coilers, Finishing Mill or Roughing Mill.
• Improve Reliability Engineering practices.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns.
• Predictive Maintenance of equipment.
• Propose solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events.
• Stay abreast of ISO 9001 and related quality systems.

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a continuous process environment (preferably in a steel industry Hot Strip Mill.)
• Knowledge of ISO standards.
