National Customer Business Manager

They also are a leading marketer of dairy-based food products for consumers, foodservice professionals and food manufacturers.
This "Prepare-to-Sell" position supports the Retail Field Sales Organization in achieving sales, volume, and profit goals. It involves working with cross-functional teams at corporate to gain alignment on internal and external initiatives as well as developing sales priorities and expectations.
- It is responsible for the development, deployment and management of annual trade and promotion plans.
- The position will own sales communications including promotion specifics, selling stories and related materials used for direct selling purposes.
- It will provide customer perspective while advocating and coordinating internal resources and managing projects/initiatives that will deliver profitable sales volume and plan objectives for assigned businesses.
Required Experience & Education:
- 4-year college degree or higher
- 5 or more years of retail CPG experience in a sales or marketing management environment
Preferred Experience & Education:
- Prior field and HQ-based CPG experience
- MBA
Required Competencies:
- Must be a goal-oriented self-starter with proven ability to achieve results through self and others in spite of ambiguity and complexity
- Must be proficient in the areas of; communication, problem solving, decision-making, leading cross-functional teams, interacting with Sr. level management, financial acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
Travel: 10 % of the Time
