Summary

Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, techniques, and prescribed specifications/standards to inspect in-process and completed products, such as: Metal fabricated (machined and sheet metal), painted parts and assemblies. This individual needs to be coordinate measuring machine savvy and be able to work swing shift.

Responsibilities
  • Uses various measuring devices, such as dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, to perform inspections of product.
  • Capable of, or learning, to operate a CMM to perform inspection - CMM programming skills a plus.
  • Works from engineering drawing, engineering changes, parts lists, 2D/3D models, diagrams, customer specifications, standards, inspection instructions, workmanship standards and checklists.
  • Monitor and verify quality levels using statistical or other control methods.
  • Assures strict control of non-conforming product and maintain accurate records.
  • Assures that all associated product documentation is in compliance with requirements.
Ideal Candidate
  • High school diploma.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Formal Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance training a plus.
  • Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
