Responsibilities

POSITION PROFILE

  • Achieve sales goals established by the leadership team
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the history of Edelman products and company
  • Identify and develop qualified sales leads
  • Manage all sales and order procedures including presentation, quoting, order/sample processing, logistics management, and follow up.
  • Develop outbound marketing initiatives ensuring the pipeline is developed to achieve sales goal
  • Attend trade shows as requested
  • Ensure efficient product tracking for timely shipment and delivery
  • Provide a single point of contact for Edelman questions, answers, and project updates
  • Develop and maintain procedures for all operational points of sale
  • Strengthen Edelman Leather brand within residential firms
  • Provide timely accurate reporting as required by the leadership team
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested
  • Achieve sales goals established by the leadership team
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the history of Edelman products and company
  • Maintain showroom in a manner that reflects the high standards of excellence required in the marketplace
  • Maintain inventory of samples, literature, catalog, etc
  • Provide a variety of administrative support to the sales team in addition to coordinating and conducting regularly
  • Scheduled showroom events with clients, end users, partners, etc

Required Skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, at all levels of the organization
  • Must have organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to collaborate
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Demonstrate high level of integrity and business ethics.
  • Associate B.S. or B.A degree or equivalent experience. 4 years experience or education in design or architecture preferred.
  • Results oriented, able to set and achieve goals for self.
  • Will provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate and follow-up.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels, in both written and verbal form.
  • Makes timely and effective decisions, takes partners and necessary, can self motivate and self direct.
