Are you a visionary product leader who wants to shape the future of education? Knewton is looking for a seasoned, high functioning superstar Director of Product. As part of our leadership team, you will lead Knewton’s consumer product strategy and execution. This is a lynchpin role, and requires consideration for long-term product quality, customer and end user satisfaction, and calls for a highly detail oriented individual with serious entrepreneurial drive and extraordinary flexibility to meet the demands at a high-energy start-up.

• Own the consumer product roadmap, define the requirements, manage new product and feature developments, and roll out our consumer platform
• Collaborate across technical, marketing, and BD teams to deliver products that leverage cutting edge analytical techniques to optimize educational content delivery in complex business and technical environments
• Prioritize projects among competing opportunities, balance user needs with business priorities, and articulate rationale behind decisions
• Glean user insights through data and direct contact with end users
• Competitively position our products in our target markets
• Define, analyze, track and improve key product metrics and progress against them

• 10+ years of experience building successful large scale consumer products
• Demonstrated success delivering complex products in an agile development environment
• Strong analytical capability, and experience improving key financial and business metrics
• Gracious team player capable of navigating the organization with skill and charm
• Entrepreneurial spirit
