Prepare budgets, re-forecasts, revenue / expense analysis and business trend analysis. Provide senior management with financial reporting and business trends used for business planning and strategic and tactical decision making.
- Lead the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting activities; including facility expense, resource allocation reviews, and statistical and financial modeling of assumptive scenarios in support of key business decision-making.
- Identifies tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate financial and operational performance and provides suggestions for areas of improvement. Perform variance analysis.
- Participates in ensuring internal reporting compliance with company policies and procedures (i.e. SOX, SSAE16).
- Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and client-ready documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations.
- Collaborate with team to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity
- Special projects and other functions as required by manager or client.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft PowerPivot and Access is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications required. Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) platform is a plus.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills required.
- Self starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis.
- Strong financial/analytical skills with proven capabilities in financial modeling.
- Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles and work ethic.
