- Assist in all aspects of writing, research and/or production of client-specific reports and research papers by assigned deadlines.
- Assist in managing deadlines and client status reports.
- Input financial data from P&L statements into valuation models.
- Complete preliminary asset valuations using discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales and replacement cost techniques.
- Monitor key hotel and tourism trends, sales, indicators, performance statistics and related topics.
- Conduct monthly financial reviews to evaluate property performance.
- Generate abbreviated or exception monthly reports for senior management highlighting areas of superior or poor performance.
- Create an update tailored reporting schedule reflecting the needs of investors and/or hotel owners/clients.
- Create and maintain business development tools such as client service statements, case studies, client testimonials, and senior team biographies.
- Abstract legal documents.
- Assist with the writing and preparation of industry and client-specific proposals and pitches.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years hospitality-industry specific work experience in hotel real estate and research with strong writing, financial analysis and analytical background.
- BA/BS degree in Business Finance, Statistics, Hotel Administration and/or Real Estate Finance
- Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (sample upon request)
- Strong Excel modeling skills.
- Comprehend all aspects of financial modeling and underwriting logistics of hospitality-related real estate investments
- Detail-oriented.
- Well-organized and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work within formal reporting relationships.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities in response to rapidly changing circumstances/deadlines.
- Willingness to take on new challenges.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and prioritize numerous projects simultaneously.
- Exemplary work ethic and interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment setting with a strong team culture.
- Ability to work to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Word for Windows, PowerPoint and Excel.
