**Typical skills include design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the following:**
- Systematic and effective Troubleshooting Ability
- PLCs with local and remote I/O, Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC500, PLC5), Siemens (Simatic S7, ET)
- Safety systems for plant equipment (Includes Safety-Rated Relays, PLCs, Sensors, Switches, etc)
- Control communication networks including Devicenet, Controlnet, and Ethernet/IP
- AB and Siemens AC and DC drives, also some Square D and others
- Motor control systems Including low voltage and medium voltage starters and soft starters
- Ancillary equipment including lighting, air compressors, boilers, ovens, and others
- Servo drives, Allen Bradley Kinetix, Siemens Master, and Siemens Sinamics platforms.
- HMIs, including Wonderware Intouch and Historian, Allen Bradley Panelview, and other standalone HMIs
- Plant power distribution systems, Square D switch gear, transformers, and relays
- Process control systems, including a wide variety of instrumentation and control valves
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic control systems
- Microsoft servers and SQL a plus
- Scripting languages a plus (VB, Java, C, etc)
**Education/Experience:**
**Required:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3 or more years' experience in a continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing environment.
- Significant experience with PLC's, Wonderware, VFDs, Servos, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
- This role will entail significant travel (50-70%).
