Summary
What’s in it for you: As a Corporate Product Specialist you will use your project management, analytical and customer/client service skills to lead and manage the delivery of the FactSet workstation and other Ipreo solutions to corporate clients. You will be a vital member of a Product Management team that is responsible for managing a comprehensive suite of Corporate Investor Relations (IR) Desktop Solutions that support research, data analytics, IR workflow, communication and reporting. You will be exposed to and gain experience in the areas of Product Management, Client Services, Analytics, Financial Data, Sales, and Application Testing & Demonstration. This provides a Product Specialist with the opportunity to prepare deliverables, and assist in the training and support of numerous Fortune 500 Companies. You will also gain exposure to Ipreo’s internal Product Development, Account Management, Analytics, and Sales teams who are all working to expand our reach into the corporate marketplace and maintain Ipreo’s reputation as the market leader.
Responsibilities
What you’ll work on: You will work with the Product, Account Management, Global Markets Intelligence, Analytics and Sales teams to take ownership of Ipreo’s relationship with FactSet as it relates to implementation, training, support and report development. You will also gather and prioritize market and client feedback and requirements. This is a growth opportunity that will evolve as our client base evolves. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Account Management & Sales training and support * Client Setup/On-boarding * Initial and ongoing client training and support * Product demo support * XLS template setup, coding and customization * Troubleshoot issues with clients or IT departments and FactSet * Serve as Data/Financials expert * Internal reporting and analytics * Assist with client deliverables * Liaising with FactSet on updates, feedback, and enhancements, and produce collateral to educate and keep internal teams and clients informed of new and ongoing enhancements/features * Ad-hoc Product and Account Management support projects as needed
Ideal Candidate
What we look for: * BA/BS degree required * A genuine interest in the financial markets and experience with client account management or relevant industry experience, i.e. Financial Services and or analysis * Experience related to the use of FactSet, Bloomberg, Capital IQ or other finance-related 'terminals'/platforms is highly preferred. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong customer service orientation * Self-motivated, detail-oriented, results driven, and the ability to take initiative * Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task is a must * Superior analytical & independent problem solving skills * Experience creating high quality deliverables * Ability to work in across multiple teams, and to work independently yet remain a strong team player * Ability to handle high pressure situations and manage deadlines * Expert MS Excel skills * Strong proficiency with the rest of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
