Senior Framework Engineer

Ionic is an HTML5 mobile app development framework targeted at building hybrid mobile apps. Hybrid apps are essentially small websites running in a browser shell in an app that have access to the native platform layer. Hybrid apps have many benefits over pure native apps, specifically in terms of platform support, speed of development, and access to 3rd party code.

The Ionic team is looking for a senior frontend JavaScript engineer to help build the future of the web on mobile.

As a developer on the Ionic Framework team, you'll be responsible for updating and fixing the core framework, managing the GitHub repo, and working on our testing and build systems.

Since launching at the end of November 2013, the Ionic community has created over 1.8M apps, in countries all around the world, and we need a great developer to help manage and grow the open source project itself.

• Be a lead developer on the Ionic Framework Open Source Project
• Manage community contributions, triage issues, and create tests
• Build new core features for the Framework, and improve existing ones

• Strong JavaScript experience
• Experience with AngularJS a plus
• Experience with React a plus
• Advanced HTML and CSS skills
• Several years experience building complicated web apps and SPAs
• Experience with Git and GitHub
