Private Equity Investment Analyst

Pacifica Hotels manages high-quality hotels in prime coastal locations and has been consistently listed in the top 10 Hotel Management Companies by Hotel Business magazine.

Assist in senior management across multiple teams in underwriting and analysis of investments and portfolio distributions.

• Prepare investment waterfall spreadsheets for capital distributions
• Perform complex financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel
• Work with Investor Relations and accounting in processing payments for investors
• Assist in underwriting and transaction project management responsibilities
• Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions, and make recommendations
• Assist in collecting market data and analysis for new opportunities
• Maintain and update asset valuation models for entire portfolio
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, dispositions and refinances

Independent Judgment Used:

• Frequently within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within Pacifica Hotel Company policies and procedures.

Knowledge/Education/Experience:

• Four year degree required.
• 1-3 years experience in a financial analysis environment.
• Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, or Hospitality a plus.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, quantitative, writing and communication skills, able to interface with top level executives.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

• Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with keep attention to detail.
• Very proficient in Excel.

Physical Requirements:

• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Stand, sit, walk for extended periods of time as necessary.
• Lift 25 pounds.
