Responsibilities

The role of the Product Specialist is to provide support to the Product Manager to ensure a high level of client, prospect, and consultant support and to provide service for the products assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, client reporting, legal and compliance adherence, operations/data management coordination, RFP preparation, marketing materials, and product/portfolio analysis. The Product Specialist works directly with the Product Manager to plan, support and affect a strong internal and external client focus.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide client and prospect support for assigned products, including preparation of client and consultant reporting and questionnaires, preparation of due diligence requests, and preparation of responses to any other ad hoc requests received.

  • Coordinate information from various Invesco offices around the globe to provide accurate and timely information to clients, prospects, and consultants.

  • Support the research and analysis of portfolio characteristics and performance data.

  • Prepare RFPs/RFIs including coordinating with other Invesco departments (IVZ RFP team, Real Estate Securities Investment Team, Compliance, Legal) in a timely manner to ensure all responses are complete and accurate.

  • Assist Product Manager with marketing materials for assigned funds/products, including gathering data from various sources.

Ideal Candidate

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Finance background or working knowledge of public equity investments

  • General investment/industry knowledge

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Excellent computer skills utilizing spreadsheet and word processing (Windows, MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Strong quantitative skills and detail oriented

  • Ability to work under time pressure

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including both internal and external contacts required

  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • College degree required; Finance or business related concentration preferred.
