Direct Marketing Coordinator

Purpose
- The Direct Marketing Coordinator supports the Director of Regular Giving in the execution of the annual budget. Provide support for the Sweeps and Lottery fundraising efforts. This position may also be called upon to support the Director of Mid-Level Giving and Legacy Marketing in the execution of the annual Fundraising budget.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Working with the Director of Regular Giving, ensure that all marketing/fundraising campaigns are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the execution of Fulfillment for both the Regular and Mid-Level Giving programs and all related donor service efforts: credit card expiration processes, reject retrieval, adhoc Mid-Level mailings, etc, Create briefings for vendors and/or internal staff and offices for all relevant fundraising campaigns
- Track information to and from vendors, file samples, provide internal programmatic accounting for campaigns, provide source code set up as needed, assist with cost finalizations as needed.
- Manage the acknowledgement insert program: ensuring all inserts are updated, printed and delivered for use as needed. Work with internal stakeholders and external contacts to ensure this is completed in a timely manner.
- Manage the execution of the WOA Photo Contest working with various departments to keep on deadline, develop collateral materials, and manage selection process
- Assist in providing necessary information to telemarketers, creative services or online as required to execute strategy.
- Provide daily contact with key vendors to ensure all campaigns are on track
- Assist in proof reading and editing of design for all printed components, assuring that all mailings are error-free and country specific.
- Two to three years of project management experience and/or fundraising experience.
- Ability to work on multiple jobs at one time, with enormous time constraint pressure, to meet absolute deadlines of multi-channel campaigns for eight countries involving four languages, on a routine basis. International experience preferred.
- A very sharp, highly organized and self-motivated individual. High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word, or similar spreadsheet and word processing programs.
- Ability to manage projects through outside vendors and internal staff.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an integrated, diverse, team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Second language a plus.
- A BS degree, preferably in marketing, business or a related field, is preferred.
