The primary responsibility of this position will be to support the financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and management reporting for the assigned business unit.
- Develop business cases in support of large financial transactions - including full P&L's, breakeven, payback, NPV, IRR (or MIRR) and ROI calculations for assigned business unit
- Develop and update multi-year forecast models for assigned business unit
- Provide strategic and analytical support to help drive product line profitability and customer gross margins
- Develop and maintain internal budget for assigned business unit
- Lead and/or participate in process improvement and system automation and reporting initiatives
- Develop and conduct executive level presentations
- Responsible for financial analysis of new initiatives/strategic analysis such as bank financings, M&A activity and new product launches.
- Ad hoc analysis as needed
- 5-10 years of experience in an analytical role
- Strong background supporting Sales, Marketing or Operations
- Experience developing complex models and business cases and ability to analyze and negotiate Cost/Margin Elements
- Strong experience in process management
- Strong Interpersonal, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with C-Level executives
- Must have a Bachelors degree - Certification (CPA/CFA) or MBA a plus
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications, including advanced Excel skills - experience using Oracle a plus
- Strong analytical and business sense a must
- Telecommunications industry/ in depth understanding of the Internet Infrastructure experience preferred
- Fast thinking, has a professional presence and a pleasant, energetic personality
- History of increasing responsibility for managing projects and people
